| Club Projects |
We are involved in many community projects
throughout the year. We have been very
fortunate to receive a Weinberg grant of
$10,000 the past few years. The club is
required to perform a specific number of
hours of community service in order to
receive the monies. The monies are then
donated to an organization approved by the
Weinberg Foundation.
An ongoing project of the club is the child car
seat inspections that are performed monthly.
Members went through a rigorous 4 day
training to become certified technicians. Car
seat inspections ultimately help save young
lives.
We also cook and sell malasadas to raise
monies for our sponsored youth programs.
This project takes place at the annual Maui
County Fair.
